ThinkShink LLC operates the ShinkTrack™ municipal compliance and asset management platform, accessible at app.thinkshink.com and thinkshink.com. We provide wastewater compliance tracking, FOG inspection management, and asset documentation services to municipal clients.

What Data We Collect
From Municipal Staff and Operators
- Name and email address (for portal login)
- Job title and department
- Form submissions including maintenance slips, operator rounds, FOG inspection reports, and work orders
- GPS location data captured during field inspections (when enabled)
- Photos uploaded as part of maintenance documentation
- Device and browser information for login sessions
From NFC and QR Code Scans
- Asset ID and location data pre-filled from NFC/QR tag parameters
- Timestamp and geolocation of scan events
Automatically Collected Data
- IP address and browser user agent
- Pages visited and time spent on the portal
- Login and logout timestamps
- Cookies used to maintain your session
How We Use Your Data
- To provide municipal compliance tracking and reporting services
- To pre-populate inspection and maintenance forms via NFC/QR asset tags
- To generate work orders and route them to appropriate staff
- To produce compliance documentation required by state and federal regulators
- To send notifications related to assigned work orders or required inspections
- To maintain audit trails for regulatory purposes
Who We Share Data With
We do not sell your data. We share data only as necessary to deliver our services:
- Airtable — our primary database for asset and compliance records
- Jotform — our form collection platform (StateRAMP authorized)
- Your municipality — all data submitted through ShinkTrack belongs to and is accessible by your authorized municipal administrators
- Regulatory agencies — only when required by law or as part of compliance reporting your municipality is obligated to perform
We do not share data with advertisers or third-party marketing platforms.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you logged into the portal. A session cookie is set when you log in and is removed when you log out. If you select “Remember Me,” a persistent cookie will keep you logged in for up to two weeks. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Data Retention
Compliance and inspection records are retained for a minimum of five years in accordance with typical municipal recordkeeping requirements. Account credentials and personal information are retained for the duration of your municipality’s service agreement with ThinkShink LLC. Upon contract termination, data can be exported and delivered to the municipality before deletion.
Your Rights
If you are a municipal employee using this platform, you have the right to:
- Request access to the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account (subject to regulatory retention requirements)

Security
Access to the ShinkTrack portal is protected by role-based authentication through Ultimate Member. All data transmissions are encrypted via HTTPS. We use GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting with regular automated backups. Only authorized personnel have access to the underlying database.
Children’s Privacy
The ShinkTrack platform is intended for use by municipal employees and licensed operators only. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our platform evolves. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Municipal clients will be notified of material changes by email.
